USA you need a High School diploma or GED. That's it for many states! After employment, you do need to obtain 12 hours of in-service training a year to work as a day care teacher. Ohio, a certified day care teacher means the 'teacher' has taken the state required 18 hours in-service health and safety trainings.

Nursery teacher? Do you mean day care worker? IN the U.S it is only required in most schools to at least have some experience in that area and good references. Hope that helps.

You have to complete some early education course. Atleast 9 ece credits.
