I'm taking some meds right now that are making me really queasy, but they work, so I'm reluctant to switch them. So far, nothing else has helpped this much. My parents are really happy that they are working, so I'm scared to let them know that the pills are making me barf. Is there any way to make myself be quieter when I'm getting sick? I don't want to draw any more attention to myself. And I really don't want to try something new with the meds. Please help!

There is medication that a doctor can give you to help with that side effect. Tell your folks and get the additional medication to help you out so you can feel good and get the benefit of the current medication you are using that is making you ill. If you just can't tell them, you can take corn syrup- it'll help with the nausea.

I agree with the crackers thing BUT

You need to at least let someone know this is happening because drugs have side effects and you at least need to document what is happening to you just in case (and hopefully not since they work) they mess up your stomach for good or something else is wrong with you.

If they work, nobody will take them from you! Just say that you want to keep taking them but let someone (maybe just the dr at least) know that they're making you sick. Maybe the doctor will have really good advise on how to keep your food down.

Happy Holidays.

What are you taking the pills for? Lose weight? Energy? What? If you barf all the time you will die. yes that very true.

I know a lot about pills and maybe I can recommend something.

Let me know.

I would stop taking the pills if you barf all of the time.
They are other pills out there that might work better.

Uh, no. When it has to come up, it has to come up. Sometimes, it comes out quietly and sometimes you just think you're going to turn inside-out from heaving over and over.

Try taking the medication with some crackers and ginger ale/coke that has the bubbles stirred out of it. It will setting your stomach. I've been there.

I would get in touch with your doctor immediately. I am assuming these are pills that they prescribed themselves. They can give you something to take the nausea away.

you could try taking them with some milk and some bread because bread can soak up the meds and the milk will settle your stomach

How can your pills work if you keep throwing them up?

Try weed. It's supposedly good for keeping away the vomits.
