why not make shaped brownies w/frosting? (of course you have to bake the brownies first and cut out when cooled)

My fave brownie recipe is so easy and tastes good too. Just make an off the shelf brownie mix according to the box directions. Have a bag of Andes mint chunks ready (available in the chocolate chip section of your store) When those brownies come out of the oven, spread the mint chunks over the top of the warm brownies. The mints will melt then harden again, making a minty chocolate top for your brownies. My family loves these and always asks for more.
Happy Holiday baking : )

You should bake the brownies and get the dough started for the shaped cookies. Last night i was going to make gingerbread men but the idea of making the dough, then waiting while its in the fridge, then baking, then cooling then decorating.... UGH. I fell asleep on the couch just reading the recipe book. I say, break it into 2 or 3 days and it'll stay fun!
