I would not be offended by Merry Christmas, as I celebrate it. I just don't think it should be used as a blanket statement by businesses when greeting their customers.

of course not...people who whine about "x-mas" or really thinking the world is taking "Christ" out of the holidays just need something to talk about. there is no war on Christmas. there is no war on Christians. people should just worry about their own spirituality, their own faith, their own hearts. don't cast stones. just love. no one is perfect.

No, but I'm a black american who thinks kwanzaa is a totally phony holiday (do the research, it was made up in the 60s here in the US and has nothing to do with africa), so I'd think the kwanzaa wish was a little silly. But I wouldn't be offended.

I even have acquaintances of many non secular faiths. and that i'm consistently desirous to benefit greater approximately their traditions and holiday journeys. So no, i does not be offended interior the least. i think of "political correctness" has long gone too far. i'm going to not basically like the commercialism of Christmas. yet final 365 days, I actually neglected the pleased "Merry Christmas" greeting coming from the cashiers at a lot of my in demand shops. i'm so chuffed that is back this 365 days.

definitely not. after all a Holiday is a Holiday is a Holiday and the meaning of wishing anyone a Happy ---------- ( fill in the blank ) is to let them know one is hoping they will have a Happy Celebration. this is the important thing.

Certainly not. Someone wishing me a happy time during the holiday season is just fine. I don't get offended by people who don't know Jesus as their Savior, I pray for them and see if they want to hear the true "Christ"-mas story.

I'm not a Christian, but I know I wouldn't be. People need to realize that Christianity isn't the only religion, and Christmas isn't the only winter holiday people celebrate. If someone said "Happy Hanukkah" to me, I'd respond "And to you too!"

No actually not at all, but as a Christian, I associate holidays with a time to be with family and friends and to thank God for all He has given me. I would wish Happy hannukah or kwanza right back at them and mean it!!

I'd say the same greeting to them wishing them well on celebrating whatever holiday they choose.

I would be happy to have any alternative to the usual "merry x-mas" or generic "happy holidays". I would wish everyone a happy, merry festivus! (for the rest of us)
