I found what looks to be an old letter and can't read it, does anyone know what language this is and what it means?

It is vietnamese, it was in the time of the war, it says.

A guess only -- it may be Vietnamese. Nguyen is a common family name among Vietnamese. Hope you get a better answer.

all i know is spanish, French and some italian Well only one word Cane:dog
