It is voluntary at the moment in UK, you have to give your consent. The tests carried out so far have been pilot schemes and in Kent, 86% of children gave their consent.

It depends on the school. I think in the US, even private schools are allowed to, but possibly with parental consent. I don't know about public schools...
You shouldn't have to worry if you aren't doing drugs though, right? Be smart and pay more attention to school... maybe then you would spelled "allowed" correctly.

I hope so we need all the help we can get to discourage the use of drugs,and school seems to me the best place to start,how can anybody complain,unless they are pro drugs.

your state laws and school policies should tell you that. things like that usually need parental consent too. or court orders

yes, under new laws only brought in last summer. they can also search you for weapons or what they consider to be weapons.
