After you die and hopefully go to heaven, what do you do when you get there? And once you are there, are you still... YOU?

Heaven is like Oz and Narnia, they are all imaginary.
Do try and recognize the difference between reality and make-believe ok?

Did you ever want to explore the world but never had the time?
Think of fractals, worm holes, the universe and the tiniest insect. In heaven you will have an eternity to do and see and live!

Did you ever have a great celebration and then be a little sad coz a family member was missing? In heaven all will be there!

Are YOU exactly who you were when you were born, or when you were 5 years old, or 15 years old? You are always you, always growing and changing. Same in heaven.

You can do what you want to do in heaven, and you have forever to do it.

Let me ask you:
1. How can you go to anyplace..when you are dead?
2. Even if you could...how could you enjoy being in anyplace like so called heaven, when there are others suffering in so called 'Hell"?
3. Even if you get there...do you really want to stand around on line day and night singing lackluster hymns and waiting for a chance to talk to Jesus?...what will you get 5 seconds with him every 500 years?..(Hey , and don't step out of line fella...you just might lose your place)
4.The most intelligent part of your question is the 'and once you are there , are you still ...YOU...when you are dead there is no here , there is no there...there is no you....THINK....THINK....Look at the sources of your line of thinking. Where did you get these silly notions...THINK

We know more about Hell than Heaven, probably because more people are going to Hell than Heaven.
In Heaven believers will have a great feast with the Lord, the marriage supper of the lamb. We will be given bodies that are perfect and will last for all eternity.
Our natures' will finally be without sin and corruption, like Adam was before the fall.
Whatever God has for us to do in eternity, it'll be great!
It is a big universe!
I can't wait!!
Come soon, Lord.

yes you will still be you - the old order of things will have ceased and the new order will be established - Paraphrase from Revelations - so what exactly goes on in Heaven has not been revealed to us but we will be in God's presense always

more importantly - "hopefully go to heaven" God wants you to know that you are going to Heaven - Romans 10 believe with your heart and speak with your mouth that Jesus is Lord you will be saved - the trick here is you must actually believe it God knows if your heart isnt in it

The operative principle

The second reason for confidence in the present hour is that though the resurrection life will be mind-blowing beyond description, it is nevertheless true that we are learning how to handle the resurrection body by the way we handle our present body now. Though resurrection will be something new, it will not be entirely new; even though it will be strange, it won't be that strange. Somewhere C. S. Lewis has said that these present bodies are given to us much as ponies are given to English schoolboys--to learn to ride "the ponies" in order to be ready for the glorious stallions that are even now arching their necks and pawing the floor in the heavenly stables.

What is it we are learning now that will be so necessary then? It is to walk by faith and not by sight! That is the operative principle of eternity, and we must learn it here. Certain hymns have reflected the idea that when we get to heaven we will no longer need to walk by faith but can then walk by sight. It is true that we will then "see" the Lord, but that in no way will eliminate our need to respond to him. In fact, it will increase it! Faith is the human response to a divine offer. As we live by means of Christ now--by faith in Him--so we will need to live by means of Christ then, by responding to his life and love.

It is for this reason that Paul uses the term "at home" to describe both our present experience in an earthly body and the coming experience when we are "with the Lord." We are now "at home" in the body, though away from the Lord. Then we shall be away from the body, but "at home" with the Lord. In either case, we are "at home."

All our tenderest associations gather around the word "home." It is where we feel relaxed, at ease, natural. And when we step into the stunning glory awaiting us, we will feel the same way--at home, relaxed, at ease, because we have not changed our basic method of operation. At home, here in the body, we are learning to walk by faith in a way that feels natural and comfortable. At home with the Lord, it will be the same.

This was Paul's own experience in that strange episode he recounts for us in 2 Corinthians 12. There he says he was caught up in the third heaven, the very Paradise of God. But twice he says he did not know whether he was in the body or out of it. Though the experience was beyond description and he heard and saw things he could not utter, yet it was not unnatural. Paul was simply not aware of his body.

He was too much at home to notice.

Yes, we will still very much be ourselves, we may be without our bodies for a time, but there is no reason for our natures or personalities to suddenly become totally different (or why would we work so hard to get 'em good here?).

What will we do? Well you are talking about eternity here, so I'd say that's time to learn about and do just about everything :)

Heaven is what you want it to be because no one has actually come back and gave a report. It is a part of your own belief system and what ever you want to think it is is alright. What ever gives you peace . Into the MYSTIC.....................
