I have been friends with this guy for almost 3 years and we have been dating for the past 10 months. We ended up breaking up a week ago because I told him that I loved him and he could not tell me how he felt about me. He just said that he doesn't know what he's feeling. He has never been in a serious relationship before me and neither have I...He would tell me all the time that he wanted to marry me and have kids with me when he graduates from college in about a year. He even took me hunting several times with him, which is his ULTIMATE passion. Right now he is barely passin his classes and has finals coming up and is completely stressed out right now. He just told me that he didn't have time for me. Do you think he really loves me and is just afraid of his feelings??? Is he thinking about me and missing me?? What should I do, just lay low and see what happens?

well, we, as men, don't exactly tell women our feelings much, but it sounds like he's afraid to admit he loves someone.....maybe something happened to him when he was younger....maybe he really is stressed about school, talk to him, beat him with an ugly stick, but make sure you get his feelings....

He has probley been badly hurt in the past and now he is just being safe before he makes any mnoves or does anything, but u 2 shoiuld be fine soon if he can have 100% trust in u!

I say back off. If a man can not tell you he loves you then odds are he doesn't. And bravo to you for going hunting with him my husband is a bow hunter and I flat out refuse to watch him kill an innocent animal. Anyhow like I said back off and don't pursue him let him come to you but make it known to him you are not going to wait around for him to figure out what he wants.
