i know the majority of earth is christian (or some sort) but if you think about it, you see cults on tv, they're miserable then they smile non stop and say they must await the comming of their leader...book of revalation, comming of christ..and then they drink animal blood, christians drink wine, which symbolizes christ's blood. and they get together in meetings and take our money that is supposed to be our debt to god for being human. come on, open your eyes please, and wake up. i was a christian than i saw through opened eyes. give me your opinions on this, and christian males, think b4 you speak, yall tend to think god would like you to be his bouncer and condemn me, you have no authority, all you can do is pray, and if you do more than that, than maybe your not completely brainwashed after all

Well, I don't know what brand of "christian" you are taking about- probably catholics. I'm a christain that believes what the bible says and btw that means no drinking. And you sir have an onus against cults, don't confuse them with real christians. And the drinking of communion juice (yes we use grapejuice) is only a rememberance, not actually supposed to picture His blood. Dude, whatever you grew up with- it wasn't real Christianity.

I feel sorry for you cause you saw through blinded eyes. Money is not what is supposed to be about. It is about the only True God, sending Jesus to die for our sins so we can live in paradise with him for eternity. Much better than burning in Hell for eternity. IT DOES EXIST!!!!! Hope you can where you should be before it is too late. Remember if you are not watching you will miss him. The only way to make it to Heaven is to be saved. By his stripes we are healed. Not by anything else. It should be about Christ and Him Crucified.

religion is a way for a small ruling body to control the masses. so at one point or another all religions start as a cult. maybe you have to reach a following status for promotion to religion from cult. either way religion is a personal belief (note personal choice) therefore i resent when zealots attempt to force there religion on me or condemn me to eternal damnation. thank you for a well thought out question. atheist since 1988.

One thing that 95% of people (Christians) forget is that Jesus despised religions.
He loved and lived among the meek, poor, tired, injured, sick and moral people, and stayed away from the rich, greedy, powerful religon elite.
Religion is, and always have been a cult, and evil. More innocent people have been killed in the name of religion than anything else.

The majority of the Earth is not Christian, in fact there aremany more Muslims. That aside, I look at every organized religion as a cult. Weak minded sheep follow the leader and believe in novels, whether it be the Bible, Quran, Dianetics, Tora, etc.
