There was this giant, green thing and it jumped up on my head and stating eating my scalp. I smashed it with a 10 pd. peice of lead but now I feel dizzy and the world is spinning. What's going on? Is that a bright light I see?

Get checked, you might develop lime disease. If you crushed the bug while he was feeding...he could have released some nasty bacteria into your head...this could cause deterioration of the skin and I seriously recommend that you visit your doctor.
Or, next time you decide to bash a bug on your head...use a baseball bat :)...knock yourself right out and you won't have to feel the dizziness.

I would suggest you going to a doctor also but if you only have 30 minutes to live, dial 911 and leave the telephone off the hook.
