After they pry the American Flag from my cold, dead fingers...

Okay, well, probably won't come to that. I don't think they'd want us back, anyway. Too much debt. I'm more concerned about the French complaining that we duped them out of land during the Louisiana Purchase.

The British Empire had it's time and now it's time has passed. There's no way it could opereate in the current world. Imperialism now takes other forms and the U.S. is most able to perpetuate this. The way that Britain is ruled now leaves their government very weak and it can support very few military campaigns at one time. Plus, now it is necissary to justify occupations to the world through the media. This renders the traditional form of empire implausable.

Sure & the mouse will win against the lion in their next fight too.
Allies do not usually fight each other but considering the US won with no supplies, no money, no armies or no preplanning, I think with all the above we can defend ourselves. The nay sayers will feel different when it their homes & families being attacked & will support whoever is President at the time.

Why would you ask something that is so stupid? And you are supposed to be our friends. Just so you know, we are not the colonies any longer. Besides, you would have the same chance as Hell does of freezing over.

Uh....where you been? We aren't colonies any longer, and, we haven't been for quite some time. I'm not worried in the least. I have more important things going on in my life than to be worried about doom and gloom. Give it a rest. When it's you're time to have doom and gloom, it'll show up all on it's own without you looking for it. Please, lighten up and enjoy your life.

I highly doubt that, you are too far in debt and too far gone to regain any British class.
