Here's my professional advice, which I am qualified to give as a licensed dentist: You most likely need to have two medications to tide you over if you got an infected tooth: 1) An analgesic. 2) A course of antibiotics to get that infection under control while waiting for definitive treatment. Without the antibiotic to keep the infex under control, the analgesic is not going to be very effective unless you are taking dangerously high dosages and put you in risk for toxicity. Also note that the antibiotic needs to be taken exactly as prescribed for it to be effective, and it won't start to work right away-- it may take a few doses before enough of it builds up in your system to start controlling the infection. If the hours are late and the dentist's office is closed, you should go to a hospital ER, have them take a look, and see if they can give you the prescriptions. When you are in pain like that, it IS an emergency. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Get to a dentist immediately. It could be an infection. Look in your telephone listings for a dentist who will offer a payment plan or join a dental plan for a few dollars a month. The pain could also indicate you are in need of a root canal. Check with a local dental school to see if they have a program for those about to graduate; they are supervised by licensed dentists and can help you at low cost or free. Borrow money if you have to, but get to the dentist before it gets worse. Hope you feel better soon.

Go to the dentists, you may have an infection. Try also using a warm mix of salt water with a dab of Hydrogen Peroxide, then use it as mouthwash. The pain should ease in a few days IF IT's NOTHING MAJOR. I still say go to the dentists in case your gums are infected.

The old standard kitchen toothache remedy
A great natural toothache remedy is to either ground clove or pure food grade clove oil on the affected tooth. This is the most well known of all herbal toothache remedies. I list this remedy first since most people have cloves in their spice rack.
Try to get anything over 600mgs pain reliever like ibpherine

Woah, unless you have a friend that is a dentist and willing to help you out for free, you will have to throw down some cash to get treated.

The only help you are going to get is going to the dentist. With that much pain..the amount of money it cost would be worth it..thats for sure.

Going to a dentist would be your best bet, in the meantime, try placing a wet tea bag over the area in pain.
