I suggest you write one more letter to your dad, and or try to come up with a phone number to speak to him directly.
I do understand that you have many unanswered questions, and desire answers. Plus the desire to have him as a part of your life, this is natural. However, you may need to accept that your dad for reasons known only to him may not want to reconnect with his past.
Do not allow this to rule your life, limit it to one more attempt, then let it go, knowing in your heart you have done all you can do.
I am not saying this to be hurtful...just being painfully honest. Life is not always fair, so sad but Oh so true.
Bless you, may all your hope and dreams come true!

I think you will get more hurt if you keep trying to contact him with no results. I hate to say this but some fathers that haven't seen their children have no desire to be a father to them. Move on, have a good life and just try to forget about him. You made it to 31 without him you can make it the rest of your life.

I would probably get the address from the pi and investigate him, myself. Go to his door, like you are looking for "Sandra Evans",a bogus name, and at least you would get a good look at him. Call him, the worst thing he can do is hang up-that can't kill you. Send him a Christmas card with your picture in it, your family now, children if you have them. Don't quit just because you are at a Y in the road, "if at first you don't succeed-try, and try again"
P.S.-from now on, keep your business to yourself, when your going through STUFF, all you need is someone else's opinion to ruin your day. What they think doesn't matter anyway. Their hearts are not the ones that are heavy at night...hang in there...

Do you know his phone #? Try: zabasearch.com
Or perhaps even whitepages.com
You need resolution in this matter. Call him! If he does not speak to you, then it's obvious he doesnt wish to. You may need to give up on it, if that be the case. Please dont waste any more of your life on a loosing battle. If he does speak to you, perhaps you will find your answers! Best wishes for a happy outcome!

find his phone number and call him, maybe someone else is getting the letters and he is not getting them. Or just show up to see him. He owes you that much and besides you might have step brother or sisters and what about your grandparents who could still be alive. You deserve this.
