The library suggestion is great..also at library, u can find french films. Watch them to pick up alot n familiarize urself with the sound. My 3 yr old sometimes changes the languages on his DVD's (Spanish n French) n honestly, he is starting to speak both languages!

French is a difficult language,you can't learn it from books or CDs.these will help later,you should learn it in a proper language

Seriously? Move to a french speaking country, attend french immersion, and get a french speaking lover. You will be fluent in 3 months. (worked for me with spanish!)
