I am sure many of your local Jewelery stores will do that even if you didnt purchase your ring from them. They will probably charge you a fee. I would call and ask aroud to find a reputable jeweler in your area. Also i would have a photo taken of your ring before you would hand it over to anyone and make sure it is insured. You cant be too careful these days! Good Luck!

Is your fiance getting your ring engraved? If so, you both need to decide if the sentiment inside will be fun or serious. That will give you a better idea of how to go. I liked all your suggestions but you need to at least agree with your fiance on the tone of your engraving. My husband and I were going to surprise each other with the engraving in each other's ring and we both ended up saying the same thing!

Did you ask the people you got his ring from if they would engrave yours also? Ask around at local jewelers. Ask places that specialize in engravings. Search on the web for engraving in your area. Hope this helps.

I would think that any jewelers would do it for you - whether you bought the ring from them or not as they will probably charge you for it. Why don't you ring a few local stores to see? If your husband already has his done can't you take your ring there?

Pretty much any jeweler you take it to should be able to engrave it, but if they wont just try a few places. I'm sure it wont be hard to find one that will.

Hopefully, none of the jewelers in your area are retired English teachers. They wouldn't do the work for you since you ended your sentence with a preposition.
