This depends a lot on your age and grade as well as the subject. I am a college teacher, so I can give some helpful advice.
1. Be present in class- this means physically and mentally. Pay attention, listen, take notes, and ask questions.
2. Talk the the teacher. Most of us are happy to help, but only if we know you want us to. You have to tell us that you are having problems. We don't want to get yelled at for getting into your business.
3. Do the homework. This includes reading, underlining, working practices, and so on. Doing this lets you know where you are confused, and lets the teacher know that you are trying.
4. Improve your reading and writing skills. All studying includes both of these, so having good reading comprehension and writing skills will help all of your classes.

It is possible to study too hard. Dont try to memorize stuff, try to UNDERSTAND whatever it is that your studying. By the way, it's not how good of grades you make, it's all about the ACT. Do well on that and you'll get a free ride to college. I'm assuming that youre in hs.

By Studying! I know it doesn't sound like fun but, this is the only way. There are many ways to make studying fun though. If u can, listen to the radio whle u study or put all the work into a poem or song! You'll Love it.

You can keep studying hard but you also have to keep up with your homework and don't leave anything blank for anything.
