For me its wrong because you really do not see the real him unlike in personal dating..He could hide something form you, and you too could do that.So theres no really getting to know each other process but some make believe statements..Traditional courtship is still the most recommendable of them all.

It is neither wrong or right, this is ones personal preference. You just have to be extremely careful because you never know about the person on the other end of the computer, but you can say that about someone you meet in the grocery store, club or anywhere else for that matter. So if it works for you I say go for it and dont care what others think.

Online dating takes ALOT of trust, more trust then an actual physical relationship. You have to trust every thing that the person is telling you and hope they are not telling the same things to other people. I never did online dating, I did however meet my husband in a chat room but I would not consider the friendship we had on the internet to be "dating". I have had a friend who had an online boyfriend I never really understood it but to each their own.

I met my boyfriend on match.com. We have been together for a year and I would have not met him anywhere else. It took me about 9 months of dating before we met. I had fun during those months and met some guys who I have remained friends with. I highly recommend it because I think it is difficult to meet guys if you don't go to church or frequent bars. Of course be careful and use common sense. Never give out your personal info and always meet in a public place until you get to know someone.

I think that it's alright to meet someone online - but it's hard to weed out the phonies ! I mean - How do you know if that person truly exists or not? I suggest that if you were to go online to meet someone you visit one of those official sites that offer these services. Be safe, avoid dishing too much information out and remember that no matter how nice the guy or girl appears to be - looks can be deceiving. God Bless and Good Luck.

I met my wife off of the internet. online dating has it's pros and cons, just as if you've met the individual in person. I've met people on the internet and out of over 10 people i've met off the internet 2 of them were bad experiences. I'm just amazed how God set everything up for me to meet my wife. I was in Florida and she was in Las Vegas. God is awesome!!!! and we have a beautiful marriage.

It's absolutely fine. Stick to e mails first for as long as you want. eventually get photos of him and his family (mum dad etc) eventually you will get to know whether he is ok or not. Online dating is perfect for people who are too shy to meet straight away. I have done it and met several people this way and never had a problem of any description at all.

The only thing i can say is be careful the person on the other end will say anything to lure you in. Dont give out to many personal details like your address make up your name, address until you get to know him because there are dangerous people out there and this is one thing they do to get you. Just be careful.

Depends on the person. My friend married a guy off the internet. My other 2 friends have met wonderful men there as well. It never did it for me though. Too impersonal.

It's very tricky this online dating thing. There are some really dangerous men/women out there that might do bodily harm to you . I would be very careful if i were you. Personally I would NOT do that.
