i want to convert an rm(real media )file to mpeg or avi file so is there any free tool available for it?

I m sorry to say that you cannot convert rm(real media) to mpeg or avi because rm contains only audio not video which can generate vieio's like mpeg and avi.

But what you can do is, convert it into mp3

I do not believe there is anything available to do that or that the quality could handle it,.. but it has seemed like people have uploaded .rm to YouTube and YouTube converted to another format,.. so maybe you could try that and see what happens if noone knows of any software
