What exactly is God realization; how it is achieved; how long it takes??...?

Question

Any personal experience?. Narrate please. It would be quite intresting. I must say I am a God-Believer, but dont really know how to achieve His realisation, I worship Him though with full faith. Could somebody please prescribe method/process/technique/technology of His realisation?
I am not going to be satisfied if it is going to be a simple one sentence reply " I have realised God; thats it"

Sounds like not to many people understand your question Jeet.

God realization is not so hard as it sounds. It's remembering it that proves to be the difficult part.

The spirit part of each of us comes from God. Spirit is the truth of us. We are spirit beings Having a human experience. Once we actually realize that this spirit part of us is our primary reality and the human experience is a sort of educational secondary reality things start to fall into proper context.

If the truth of us is an actuall part of God then we can not be substantially different or separate from what we are a part of.

It is like being a leaf on the tree. It seems to be a leaf but it is also undeniably part and parcel of the tree. This being the case each of us like the leaf are what we are a part of.

This realization takes a bit of time to fully understand and can seem at first to not really make much sense.

At some point it just hits you that you have never really been separate from God because that would not be possible.

Work with this idea for a while and it will come to you.

I would have to say that realizing God comes from experiencing Him. You come to the place where you know you have been touched by Him in some way, and there is no other explanation. Perhaps it's something big like a miraculous healing. Or it could be something small, like a word of comfort from someone else that was just what you needed to hear. You have this experience, and you know without a doubt that God exists, and that He is in direct contact with you. He knows you, and cares about every aspect of your life. I can't tell you how to make this happen. I can only urge you to be aware. God wants you to know Him, not just know of Him. He wants you to experience Him.

I dont have any hard core facts to base my opinions on. This is my personal feeling about GOD.
Sometimes, things happen that you dont expect. You dont understand what they are for and u want something else to happen. You are frustrated because life is not going as planned.
However, in the long run, you realise that what happened was the best thing that could ever have happened to you.
I firmly believe that "Man proposes, God disposes"
Sometimes, at times of calamity you get a super-human strength that you could never have thought of to tackle a situation. Sometimes, you do something for no reason and that changes your life. What prompts you to do what you did?
Some people call it luck, but I call it God's will.

I attained god realization by doing several forms of energy work.

Qigong, Reiki, Hawai'ian mysticism, etc.

By working with that energy; I realized that I am NOT my body. I AM the energy that flows through me.

Since I came to realize that I am an energetic being instead of a physical one; I realized that I was a small part of an infinite energy universe.

Jesus often said "I and the father are one"

He attained god realization by choosing to do the fathers will instead of his own.

That is what I am trying to do.

It took about two years of consistent practice before the consciousness shift to occur.

I am fond of the quotw I use as a signature "Have received the title "master" eight times and STILL working on self mastery.

First of ll give up the notion that god is some where in heaven with wireless communication getting feed back from all universe,.
First realisation is "I am alive because god activates my physical body" Second is "since he is with in me I have a permanent witness to all my actions.I can never do any thing secretly"
Third is "since my actions are witnessed and recorded i cannot escape their consequences unless i consigned all my actions to god honestly and not demand any return for it"

Now you can understand how your body, actions, behaviour , talk and living should be according to the above sloka.

for achieving The God or anyhting in this world
three things are needed
1)discipline
2)hard work
3)patience
fourth one is the direction but it is dependent on above three or it can be gained from experienced people.

so for achieving God start with anything with the goal that I WANT TO REALIZE GOD. direction you will get automatically.
you know everything , no need to tell that start gayatri mantra and follow Geeta principle , go for patanjali. or you do anything in the name of spiritualism which should be selflessely.
in fact you will automatically get from your innerself what next you have to do.. you start from gayatri mantra , increase the frequency ............... the main problem with you is that you do not have faith wheather whatever you are doing is usefull or worth . once you have faith in God that he exists than start any activity and do not think about result(Geeta)

brother, there r many steps to god realisation. first its duality, there mayb many gods forms n we perceive it to b different. second is qualified dualism, there r many god forms but we know that god is one...its like many different type of light bulbs, shapes, sizes, colours but the current in them is one. third, is god n i r one. so the truth is we r god n HAVE BEEN god all the time. just that we don't realise it, Y IS THAT SO? coz man is made up of body, mind,intellect n spirit. the spirit is god. but we identify with the body,mind n intellect. once we stop that n start identifying with our spirit, we would have realised our true Self. but as i said earlier, THE 3 steps. u must proceed one by one. now i believe u r still at the second level as most of us r, develop love for god, keep him as a close friend, contemplate him on all times, choose a mantra for a god form u like n chant it all the time. then u'll suceed. i'll narrate an inspiring anaecdote from ramayana. rama asked hanuman what is his relationship to rama. hanuman replied " at the level of the body, i am ur SERVANT. at the level of the mind, i WORSHIP you, at the level of the soul, YOU N I R ONE.' hanuman is our role model, his life n the way he kept chanting rama's name is an instruction as to how we must lead our lives. all the best to u my friend, with love n light.

If front of god, everybody is one. First thing is to do is, whatever you pray to him, put the exact words. i could give an example for this what happened in my childhood.
When i was small child, i use to pray to god that pass all my classmate and then me. I use to faill:)). but i never thought why i am getting failed. Still i pray the same, but still i was failingin my test. Then thought i am not sellfish, coz i want all to pass.

One of my classmate, who study well and get first in class, i saw her praying just before she start to write her test. Then i asked what did she pray? she answered me she want to be the first and not others. I was thinking how selffish she was. I was happy oneway. eventhough i am not good enough in my studies, i am not selfish like her.
Then i changed my words like " Pass me and others too". So by this way everybody will pass .But still i didn;t. God want me to relise more than that i was making a mistake. Then i thought a lot. Findout, it is the work i have to do. I use to study just stlightly once and then go and write the test. I was not working hard to study. I relised that.

After then i studied hard and then i prayed "Pass me and others too With our hardwork". Everyonce passed. Sometimes we may pray with the correct words with correct sentence what we want exactly. But if it didn;t happen, then we have to make it think what wrong did we do. We may not think like that, we automatically can get angry with god, that he is not helping us.That is how i was started, then later with my own pratice, I can feel to understand more about god. Finally i relised that god is inside me. Remember god allways take you to the right path.
Whenever you do a work, it might be wrong or hurting other people, that is not god wants us to be. So, do your work in the right way, no hurting people. Be humanity first, then spirituality.

So it will be everyhard to reach him. But trying to reach him, surely god will help us. Reaching god, you should think everyone is equal, no different or no partiality, even with your enimies. Never harsh anyone even with your heart or by thinking. whenever you feel like that, call by the name of god you wish to pray. divert that kind of thinking. You may learn these in your pratice.so try to avoide those people who will make you to get angry or you don't like them. Doing meditations may help you. say "om" whenever you have time. concentrate on it. Or say any slogas which you like. I wish i have given a hint for you to reach. Hope you will make it.
