my boyfriends father called me to see where his son was when he new where he was. he said he didn't talk to him i knew he already did talk to him because i spoke to his son 10 min befor he called and his father beebed in on his end.when i called him on it i got i would lie for him but i'm not lieing now

IT CAME OUT OF THE BLUE MY BOYFRIEND WAS ON HIS WAY HOME FROM A ACTION HIS CAR BROKE DOWN SO HE HAD TO SPEND THE NIGHT THAT IS WHAT I WAS TOLD FROM MY BOYFRIEND.HIS FATHER BEEBED IN 10 MIN LATER HIS DAD IS CALLING ME TO SEE WHERE HE IS.BUT THEN TELLS HIS SON HE ONLY CALLED BEACUSE HE SOUNDED MAD ON THE PHONE WITH HIM AND HE WANTED TO KNOW IF HE WAS MAD AT HIM.TELLING HIM HE NEVER SAID THAT HE WOULD LIE FOR HIM BUT HES NOT LIEING NOW I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT BECAUSE I DON'T LIE SO I DON'T WANT TO BE LIED TO.

There is no mystery here. The man is a liar and can't be trusted when it comes to you and his son. It means no matter what he is going to take his son's side when there is a problem between you and his son. Now that I have said that, who side do you think he should take?
Second question, why would he lie over something so simple? Did you hear him talking to your boyfriend or is that just what your boyfriend said?

His father is a grown adult man. He should not place you in the middle of this unless he cannot locate his son and feels you know where he is. If he all ready spoke to his son, if the son told him where he was the father might have just been verifying the story the son gave him. None the less unless an emergency or your boyfriend ran away the father need not call you

Don't sweat it too much...OR try to over think this!!!
His father may just want to know that YOU are trustworthy!!!
There may have been some trust issues in the past that you are not aware of, because it was with some one else!!! Just BE HONORABLE and TRUSTWORTHY!!! Don't lie to him or his dad!!! Remember this:
Love, trust and respect go hand in hand!
If you always tell the truth...you don't have to worry about what you said when...the Truth is always the truth!!!

maybe it wasnt really his father that had beeped in???!!! well it means yes i would tell a lie for my son ( & i have) but im not lying about this, the problem may be with your boyfiend, keep in mind that his tongue isnt "lie proof"!!!!!
