a girl that you really fancy came out of a 6 year relationship with her fiance 8 months ago, and they had their own place (mortgage),would you be wary about asking her out on a date even if you know that she ended the relationship but you dont know the reason why?

Yes I would be wary because the spoiled relationship could've been her fault and not his. 6 years is a long time.

No son. Your thinking too much. Be a man - get in there, take her out for a nice dinner and drinks, back to her place and knickers off, munch some carpet, then drill like a sargeant major on parade in front of the queen son! Be a man. C how you feel the day after that, & if you still want to, sit around and wonder about stuff you ain't got the *b*alls to ask her directly.

I'd try to understand the reasons for their break up, then probably give her some time to regroup because coming out of a 6 year relationship with a fiance no less, will probably leave her needing some time to catch her bearings.

surely if she ha split up it doesn't mater why or what the situation was before? The only thing to worry about is she might not wanna see anyone else at the moment but if u dont ask how will u ever know? Dont be such a hermit

Yes, due to the fact that that it was LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP and it had to be something serious if a mortgage was involved, however, why not just ask her why she and he broke up, versus ASSUMING the reason....

I'd be very careful about that. I would find that a little wierd. Then again, i'm only 18. If I were like 24 or something then sure, i'd ask her out.

to start with the relationship is over and her life is moving on. ask her out several times and then be honest with her and tell her how you feel and what you want to no, and be very honest. but her past is in the past if you were in her place how would you feel ? ?

Yes. She is still involved with him. She has a huge mess to clean up right now. She needs time to get her thoughts off of him and get rid of her part of the house.
