How about the growth hormones and steroids given to American cattle to make them mature and gain weight quickly so they can be slaughtered faster? How those hormones AREN'T neutralized by cooking which is why American kids are maturing at 8 and 9 years old and are so fat they can hardly move. Which is why American beef is banned in almost every country in the world. Which is why McDonald's is banned in many countries and the ones that they are in they had to fight and modify their menu in order to do so, but they keep pumping those hormones into Americans.

I think that would be a really fine report.

Check out "Super Size Me". Its a documentry by Morgen Spurlock, might give you some ideas. Also States have started banning Soda machines from public schools. Im sure the senator that proposed the bill has literature on a wesite.

The first case i actually know about is connecticut. I think it happened in some areas of New York and California as well.

You should try to do a corealation between malnutrition and poor school performance. There should be plenty of info on that topic. Also you can try how improving their diets reduces the risk of lead poisoning in kids. Here are some links to help with your presentation. Good luck!
