how come everytime someone says something about someone by the time it gets to the person that it was said about the whole story is diff?

LOL, that is because every one wants to put their own spin on it. If I said "She looks nice today" and it got filtered thru 20 people the message she would get would be "Doc said you look like a slu't"

When people are repeating rumors they typically want to embellish it to make the story better. It's also a lot like that game 'Telephone' where the first person in the line says a certain phrase and by the time it gets to the end of the line it's totally different. People also freely interpret using their own words to describe a situation. Unfortunately my dear, it's human nature, get used to it!

because people like to say to others what the hear. did you ever play the telephone game when you were little. where everyone sits in a circle and the 1st person says a sentence to the 2nd, and they repeat it to the next until they get to the last person and then they say it out loud and it is something totally different.

This shows how humans do not listen very well. When I went to a birthday party when I was in 1st grade we all got in a circle and the birthday girl's mom whispered something into her ear, and it got passed from person to person until it got back to her and it was totally different than what it started out to be.

Have you ever played telephone? People can't remember the WHOLE story, so they will either tell what they can remember, or add in what they want to make the story better. The more people it passes through, the more constrewed the truth gets.

Its called Gossip, Dear. Everybody these days are wanting drama and thats why they exagerate the story to have something to talk about because their melodramatic life is boring. and need some excitment to make their own life seem not so miserable!

because i didnt say it about her, it was her sister and maybe it was wrong anyway cos she has blonde hair and i only saw the back of her head and it was a bit dark so it might have been that thin man that stacks the shelves at the supermarket. Everyone says hes a bit strange but he seems ok to me but its not what id say about your sister if were her.

Because stupid people have nothing better to do than gossip. Just ignore it and dont spread rumors, you would be hurt if they were spread about you.
