im really just looking for somthing short, a way to pay for college and make some cash on the side while i work a full time job after highschool. It's really about the money and i care more about my social life, like partying and hanging out

That is really a question that we can't answer for you. Don't listen to us, your answer will come from within you. If you are having trouble deciding make a pro/con list and list all the good things and bad things in seperate categories. Or talk to your family and friends that know you better than we do on here.

Since you are really into partying and hanging out with your friends...I would say YES!!..You should going the National Guard!..It will most certainly help you Grow-Up!..If I was you I would seriously check out the "we will pay for your college" thing..Sometimes it does not work out that way!!..Just a warning to you!.

Sure, but realize that you will be going to basic training just like everyone else going into the Army. You will be treated like everyone else there, and it lasts for 9 weeks, and that's if you do well.
So don't think it's an easy way to get yourself some money. If you are going in looking for something like that, then I suggest you don't waste their time and stay home and get drunk.

You could but partying and hanging out isn't about life. Join the Marines and learn responsibility and courage.

Then probably not. You have to do you one weekend a month and two weeks a year. You are thinking of going in to it for the way thru college and money. You do know that you could be called into action.. Please use your brain. I am sure you were born with one.

You are better off going into the reserves if that option is available. They are more flexible if you need to move to another location.
