What happened?

I ran into this guy 9 months ago and we hit it off,we were like magnets,I was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating(they r mutual friends)he listned and understood,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentlamn,things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual friend told me he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who was trying to get me back)I saw him 2 months after and he came to me and said"your killing me",my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.I thought of him since,i sent him a text a couple weeks later and he never replied,I saw him at a party 6 months later and he walked in with another girl(although it did not appear that they were'together')he saw me and looked away quick.What happened?

My brother is also freinds with him and best freinds with my ex.This guy called my brother after that night apologizing and swearing nothing had happened and that he did not try to make any moves.My brother says he "digs"me but is scared of him and my ex.The night he said I was'killing'him I left where we were at becaus emy ex was freaking out,and this guy called me and told me I was so beautiful and asked me if i would go out on his boat with him in the summer,which was 3 months away,why would he be thinking so far ahead and then never make his move with me?

I think that you and this guy should give it a try and forget about your ex. And if your ex get mad at you guys so be it. He should of never cheated on you. Don't let this oportunity pass you by it sounds like your friend is a good man and he really is interested in you. Think about your happiness. If I was you I wouldn't think twice about having a relationship with this guy.

i think he was just truned off by the ammount of drama in your life and didnt' wantt o have to deal with a nightmare of an ex that you had. This is a sucky situation but hey- what can you do

sounds like you found comfort in the arms of a "friend" & theres nothing wrong with that, you just have to find a way to deal with this, dont do the text messaging thing~ go pay him a visit, sit down & have a heart 2 heart!!

Apparently he is afraid of your brother and ex. If you like this guy approach him and call off your brother and ex. They have to allow you to have a relationship. They are being unfair to you.

he may value his friendship with your ex too much to cause problems by getting involved with you. maybe your ex told him something to back him off. in any case, you need to back off and move on.
