I am an african-american women who has dated several muslim men in the past. They seem obssessed with sex. Isn't it against their religion to have sex before marriage? They are very persistent in asking for sex. Also, they seem to bring a lot of prejudices and stereotypical attitudes (into the relationship) about women of color, specifically that we are "easy" or "loose" women who live for sex.

It is OK for muslim man to have sex with non muslim women. Muhammad himself had sex with his wife maid Mary,he kept rayhana who was the most beautiful girl of that tribe as his own sex slave. Look what is happening in India, muslims are raping Indian women every day in big time number thinking only a muslim woman should be respect. It is 7Th century Bedouin barbarian cult.

Hello, I really know few Muslim women who will share their views with me onn this subject but then again many Muslim men I know will shag all sorts of women, especially non Muslims while single, then expect their future wife to be nothing less than the Virgin Mary. Maybe they think that having sex with women of their own religion is wrong, and as you aren't, you're fair game.
Do they only follow the beliefs they want to follow? I suggest you date someone else, they sound as though they're only interested in self-gratification.

yes its forbidden in Islam to have sex before marriage(so does the bible and Torah say that).this Muslim men are being sinful if they are dating and having sex before marriage.
The woman and the man guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime but if married persons commit it, the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh's Law). (An-Nur 24:2)
