Hi...I have exams coming up next week and I have decided to take a different approach from everyone else. While everybody else is stressed and freaking about exams, I have decided to let God take away from worries and trust completely on him and try as hard as I can not to stress out for these. (Mind you, while I'm trusting on God to take away the stress, I assure you I will be doing my part in studying copiously!) But, I go to a secular college and there are girls in and out of my room all day. I wanted to hang some scripture verses above my desk to remind me not to be nervous and to trust in God. I have a memory verse journal at home, but I don't have it with me and I can't remember any of the references. So, if anyone has any encouraging scripture verses for me that would be great...
P.S. I have my bible with me so I only need the references! GOd Bless everyone! :)

Well you are doing the right thing by leaning on God. Always trust in him and he shall direct thy path. I am sure you know that verse. Here is a great site that will help you look up verses. Its called a concordance. thewebpastor.com When you get there click on the book that says bible studies and wait for it to load. scroll about half way down and you can type in what words you remember in the verse and it will pull up the verse you need. It is a trusted site. I hope you enjoy it for there is much helps on that page as well.

Try these verses... I have them on my desk at work:
Psalm 73:26
Psalm 16:5
Romans 8:6
Matthew 6:11
Psalm 142:5
Phillipians 4:13
They really help me when I am about to stress out.
P.S. I think that it is a great idea not to worry about your exams... worrying doesn't accomplish anything.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways aknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

Jehovah's Witnesses both witness and bear witness to God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.
(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah
(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.
(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus
(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”
(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

My favorite passage is the victory Moses takes over the Amalekites, in Exodus 17:8-16
It's amazing what praising can do. Spend your time in worship!!!! Mentally when others are around/vocally when your alone.
It's amazing what praising can do....alleluia....alleluia....
