My husband is hosting a baby shower for me, and I have never attended any or had any before as this is the first child we are going to have, i have no idea on what to wear??? I know its sounds crazy but i wanted to know if there is a dress code thing or what? Please advise

OMG! I never heard of a husband giving the wife a babyshower! That is the sweetest!! You have one proud daddy and husband there!!! Too cute!!! Girl, Dress cute and comfortable!!! You dont have to impress anyone!!! You are the one with a baby in you! Just dress in whatever you know you will be comfortable in!!! Good Luck!

That is so nice. Most men could not be bothered about showers or taking on arrangements like a party for their wife. You must have a wonderful hubby.
It depends on the sort of shower he is giving. Men usually do things in a casual manner so ask him what he thinks and how he has told the guests to dress.
Is he having your shower at home? or at a restaurant or club.
You do want to be the center of attention so have your hair done, nails, etc. and nice makeup - perhaps something that you would wear to church or out to a restaurant.
Maybe get hubby a nice little thank you gift for hosting your party.

look nice that's the dress code. Well, it'll be a winter baby shower probably, so wear white, like creamy white. Go to motherhood at the mall or old navy they have fashionable clothes to wear.

no theres not a dress code you wear what you want to be comfortable, I just gave a baby shower for my daughter and there was 38 people that showed up and nobody wore anything fancy, took two trucks to get all her stuff home be comfy

Just dress cute and comfortable. It isn't like a cocktail party, but you don't want to be in an oversized shirt and sweatpants either! Try Pickles and Ice Cream for some cute ideas!

Do you know what your having??? If its a boy then wear a nice blue outfit a girl then wear a nice pink outfit if you dont know what is the sex of your baby then try a light yellow top or light greenish one

Usually you wear what you might wear to church, like a nice modest dress or nice pants and a nice shirt.

Wear whatever you are comfortable in. I wore shorts and a cotton shirt to my first one. :)
