No, but removing the damaged and split ends of the hair by cutting will let it grow with less splitting and breaking off. I cut the end of my Hair ( about 2 inches ) every 2 months it looks nice and people like it.

As hair grows from the root, and not the end, cutting the end of the hair has no effect on the speed with which the hair grows.

However, removing the damaged and split ends of the hair by cutting will let it grow longer less splitting and breaking off. Results is healthy looking and thicker hair.

It will not grow any faster, but it does not break off, so it can get longer.

Cutting the hair more often doesn't actually make it grow more.....what it does do is keep the ends of your hair split free therefore the hair doesn't split from the bottom up, which makes it gain length
Ya see if you have a split in your hair, one of the hairs is going to eventually break off, leaving a thinner damaged little flyaway piece. Then that piece will split again and so on and so on, And there is no miracle conditioner ect to fix it . The only way to fix a split end is to cut it off above the split.

NO!
as I read in the book...if you cut youre hair it just SEEM that they are longer! this "grow faster" thing is from Stone Age!
Your hair grows from the roots! not on the ends!
And my hairdresser said that you can cut youre hair how often to you want. She says that she cut her own after 6 months! It depends how to you feel!

No. Your hair grows from the root, not the tip. There are no nerves in your hair so the root doesn't know what is happening at the end.
Some people confuse hair with grass. Cutting grass frees up nutrients for the rest of the plant and allows more growth. But grass is alive while your hair is dead.

no. it will still grow at the same rate. It will seem to grow faster as you remove any split ends that reduce the length of the hair though.

Yeah, it gets rid of the damaged ends allowing it to grow faster. Split ends will prevent fast hair growth.

No. It'll look healthier because you won't have split ends, but your hair is dead. The only part that is alive is at the root and the ends of your hair have nothing to do with speed of growth at the root.
