Well, unfortunately I feel it is my duty to tell the world this: there is no evidence because he doesn't exist. To those people who said "look at nature", I took your advice. I looked at nature and I saw like never before the miracle of science and evolution. And to whoever said "isn't Jesus proof enough", no he isn't. He was a carpenter thousands of years ago, just like many other people. He was a good guy, so he got lots of followers, and they thought that he was more than human. I've got news for you: lots of people are good people, it doesn't make them more than human. Our existence, like all the rest, are no proof of god's existence either. Our existence proves that we exist, that's it. God was just made to explain why we exist, so they made god up. That of course was before science had developed like it is today, before we knew about DNA and evolution. Now people just believe it because they're too stupid to see that just because your parents told you god exists doesn't mean he does. The bible isn't evidence either. It's a book, just like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Do you believe them too? Just because it's in a book doesn't make it true, especially a book thousands of years old that has been translated and copied so many times. The bible you read isn't even the original bible (which wasn't true to begin with). None of these "proofs" that Christians speak of are actually anywhere near actual proof.

Are u mad, the evidence is every where look around you.....how r u able to breath how do the plants grow, y does rain fall just when u need it to, y is it when u think all else is hopeless out of some coincidence something happens to make it all better. HOw did the world come to exist, and don't tell me from a bang, try burning paper and tell me that resurrects itself impossible, then they are some unexplainable things, like the child who was born premature and no one had hope he/she was going to live but because a grand parent or parent was praying profusely over there head they made it against all odds.......or the man or woman who got into the really bad accident and was sworn to dead, pulls through at the last minute, come on the evidence is there remove ur blinders and take a look. He is alive and he has given countless evidence of his existence which he doesn't need to

Because everyone would follow Him out of fear and not exercise the strongest power humans have: faith through love. A life where God is obvious could never create any sort of meaningful relationship as it is superficial and requires no effort on the created being. Any conclusion reached by blatant objective knowledge is not an achievement of mankind and even the lowest of lifeforms do the same thing. The object of faith and our understanding of the limits of reason is what makes us human and allows us to come into a relationship with God when it is paired with modesty and love. And again, not everyone really would agree that God doesn't show actual evidence of his existence, either. It's all perspective : )

Have you actually engaged with any of the classical arguments for God's existence? For example, the cosmological argument:

(1) All beings I observe exist contingently.
(2) But if there were no being which existed necessarily, there would ultimately be nothing for contingent beings to be contingent upon.
(3) Therefore, there is a being which exists necessarily, and we name this being "God."

Of course, neither this argument, nor any of the other classical arguments, demonstrate that this God's characteristics correspond with those of the God of traditional theism -- which may well be anthropomorphic and sociomorphic projections. But the classical arguments certainly demonstrate to an open mind that there is more going on in the universe than "atoms and the void."

When you say "evidence," you are evidently excluding the operation of human reason. Widen your concept of "evidence," and really be the kind of disinterested investigator you want us to believe you are.

I really like your watermark analogy, I would like to extrapolate on that. First, you are right, there is only faith as yet for evidence. But, as we know, there is an awful lot of it. Picture it covering the earth, like a network, or a web of belief. Now hold it up to the light, you will see the watermark. I truly believe this to be the incontrovertible evidence of God's power. I see, though, that I have not offered what you have requested. This is not empirical evidence that "one specific entity" has "made the universe, or created existence". This is definitely not something that "can't be explained by some other phenomenon". I definitely acknowledge that this might not be '"seen as a rational and agreeable explanation by the majority of intelligent humans" LOL! So, I agree with you...there is not empirical evidence...Yet! Thank you Free Thinking American!

According to surveys, around 72-75% of people believe in God at this time in history. Over the course of history those who believe in God have always outnumbered the non-believers. There is not a society that has not left artifices, temples, monuments, etc. dedicated to "god". Even when countries have outlawed religion and only taught atheism (like Russia and China in the last 70 years) people continued to believe in God. Within 2 years of the fall of the communist government in Russia, believe in God was back at the 70-75% level.

Apparently there is enough evidence for the majority of people - even when taught their whole lives against it - to believe in God. Perhaps you need to take another look at the evidence. It is everywhere.

You missed the boat dude...

Look around, everything that you see, trees, flowers, birds, humans, the rain and the snow, the water cycle, minerals...everything not man made was created by God.

Anything that was man-made was created by materials supplied by God.

God even made things so complex, so incredible, so unique, that it just keeps scientists busy world wide trying to identify, understand and how it came to be...technically I guess they really wouldn't be scientists if they believed in God.

The most precious thing you own, life, was given to you by God. Yeah I know, your just daddy's little squirt and you grew up in mommy. Guess who made all that possbile...certainly no one here on earth.

Check out the universe, the stars, planets, galaxies, etc. We as humans have no idea what further we will discovery, either in the depths of the universe on or dry land on earth...for the most part, we do not even know what other creatures may live and lurk in the deep waters of our oceans.

The evidence is all around. There is not one item that man has yet to invent that can replicate the human eye, the ear, or even a mechanical nose. How about fear and feelings...

Everywhere you go, you cannot ignore the evidence of his existance...

Funny how they see that even with eyes, many people really cannot see.

There are many evidences. God never fails. Look in the Bible, nature, and you- you are God's masterpiece. Ever wonder why He made us superior among other things He created? Behind everything, there is a reason. Behind every reason is God. A sovereign and all-knowing God. He can do anything. I assure you. So don't go thinking that He failed to leave evidences, because you are one of them. He created you, me, everyone, and everything.

I will say this to your question. Ever seen a Pigeon? Ever seen a baby Pigeon? You see the blowing wind moving the leaves on a tree, can you actually "see" the wind? Most people, not all, but most, come to an acceptance of a higher spiritual power after they have grown and if they are lucky, witness the birth of their children. In my view, that is a true miracle of note and proof to me that I am not the most powerful or advanced being in the universe. Believe or don't. Your choice.

Think about this:
If God would interfere in worldly affairs then that takes out human choice.
We would be just mindless thoughtless beings bowing down all the time and not living.
Its all a test. Helping us all the time would be like giving us the answer sheet.
He did give us the tools. What we do with te tools is our choice. Then you have to factor we all get graded on this test :)

Knowing and believing is the test

You are the evidence as you live and breathe. The reason why you exist is because of God. What other proof do you need?
