Nope. Unlike others who have answered, I am not intimidated by those whose beliefs differ from my own.

I don't fear being punished by God. He isn't into "punishing", but I am afraid of reaping what I sow if I do a bunch of bad stuff. That's just common sense though...

Yes, I feel threatened by religion. In the US, people are making major gov't policy decisions based on religion instead of facts and evidence. We're pumping millions into abstinence programs that have been SHOWN not to work, millions more into 'faith-based' programs that have been spreading AIDS throughout Africa with the same policy, we ignore women's health issues if there's a chance they might decide to have sex as a result, and we're trying to stop teaching science to kids because it might offend them.

Do I fear punishment by god? No, I don't see any evidence for any of the gods people keep talking about. There is no god, and we're all sufferring as a result of religion.

I don't believe there is a god, so I do not fear "punishment" from god.

I do not feel threatened by religion, only by religious zealots who want to force all people to believe as they do.

I feel threatened largely by religious people. I'm an atheist and a humanist. We live in a secular nation, but I feel like religious people are CONSTANTLY trying to shove religion into every aspect of public life. In my opinion, that's un-American. They are imitating the Taliban.

I fear god as much as you fear the wrath of the Great Pumpkin!

Nope. Pretty hard to be threatened by, afraid of, and punished by something that doesn't exist.

Not threatened by god god isn't real. Threatened by people who believe god is some kind of super being who wants them to kill everybody. That's why we need to kill religion. Say no to jesus

I have a bad taste in my mouth about religion. I'm very bitter about it, not sure if I do believe in religion. I feel their teachings have been indoctrinated in me and even though I want to escape it I can't.
