You cannot tell if you are Hep C positive by these figures. When you are tested you are first given an antibody test (ELISA). If antibodies are present then a PCR test will be done. This is to see if you have virus in your blood. You cannot tell if you have the virus just because you have an antibody reading. The only way to know is for an actual PCR virus test to be done. If you have ever come in contact with the Hep C virus you will have antibodies. This does not mean you are Hep C positive. Research shows that some people clear the virus from their system - but they will always have the antibody. Please question whoever did your test and have them explain it to you in a way you understand. Or check out Hep C organisations on the web - especially www.c-level.org.uk
