All of we who think of ourselves as pragmatic are so willing to throw scientific fact-based technology out the window to make room for faith in things which would otherwise seem fantastical.
Life after death, People coming alive after death, Virgins in the sky, etc. If we could just sit and think about these things, we'd have to admit that even Faith makes believing in these stories a stretch.

btw/religion has not blinded you, but indeed you have been lied to by the enemy/Satan. You could not understand this until you are in right standing with God.

assuming that you mean if life exists after death then yes many will feel silly that they denied God during life as only the power of God can give us eternal life when we have died,unless of course you think that you can resurrect yourself.

Religion can indeed be blinding. That is why it's important to be in a relationship with Christ and not partake in religion.
