Why do you no longer understand what an atheist is? ATHEIST - someone who does no longer trust in a God – any God – no longer only the Christian one. yet that does no longer mean they do no longer carry reliable moral or non secular beliefs! they can maintain on with any faith that does no longer have a god and there are quite some those! Like BUDDHISM – non secular training from Buddha and his followers that by destroying greed, hatred and fantasy (the reason behind all suffering) guy can attain perfect enlightenment! Christians are continually attempting to declare they offer the most to charity even with the undeniable fact that the reality is they offer to church homes which offer very, little or no to any needy or deserving reason and save it interior the church!

Assuming this "god" fellow is all-knowing and all-seeing. He would never ask that question in the first place.

Its the same thing as the atheist who was walking in the woods and went around a tree and came face to face with a viscious bear. He was afraid because he knew the bear was going to eat him. He looked to the sky and said " I do not believe in you God and nothing will change my mind, if you are for real make this bear a Christian and he will have mercy and maybe not eat me". There came a voice from the sky saying It Is Done. The bear clasped his hands together and bowed his head and said, "BLESS YOU FATHER FOR THIS FOOD WHICH I AM ABOUT TO RECEIVE". AMEN.

No. God is the best at seeing through peoples intentions, and has dealt since the beginning with people trying to give excuses. The good news is, that those reading this, are not dead yet, and have time to study and decide about the truth for themselves. :)

Taking into consideration that he may not exist i think the best answer for the atheist to give is that the christians were not being Godly but demanding so we had no choice but to think for ourselves. Tell him that there were too many different versions of the bible and they didn't know what to believe so they chose none.

If God exists, I'll tell him, I saw no reason to believe anything the religions said about you was true. I was looking for the truth, and it was clear to me that they didn't have it.

I imagine this supposed God would respond saying, "Good work. I knew at least one of you would grow a brain..."

Edit - Crazy for Christ - Tell your dad he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about...

I would say: people in Earth understand you totally differently. Christian monks are raping children, Christians are burning down aborting clinics and act aggressively, they call bad names homosexuals (which are people and Christians as well). Christian history is horrible, how could a person with a reasonable mind follow you or people who represent you!

I would also ask him why he ordered to such unintellectual people to write so non understandable things in the Bible.

Well, of course she can. Then He will say, "WOW, I never heard that one before!" Then they will have a good laugh together. Then she will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone for eternity. That God, what a joker!

If I'm wrong and get called before him one day, it's strictly a formality. As someone who's infinite and all knowing, he'd know my every thought and deed.

Might as well shrug and ask for a diet soda.

Hell, make that a real soda. I'm dead.

no because if the God you are talking about does exist, he or she would know the atheist was lying because God knows everything!
