You need to learn how to spell & speak English first. The way you asked this question...it's ovious you need to take English Class.

I work at a Hawaii hospital, so I know what they require.
You need to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of United States. You need to have a degree in the Medical Field or knowledge, meaning....quite a bit of years experience in the Medical Field, college education, you need to be CPR certified, you need to pass a drug test, several blood test, TB test & 3 training courses that last 1 week each. Hawaii expects alot because they seem to think they are "special". So, don't expect it to be easy to get into., If you want an easy job. Go apply at Burger King or McDonald's.

I believe there is only one state hospital and it is a mental hospital. The other medical-type hospitals are private.
They'd require the same qualifications as any other hospital, depending on the position you were applying for.

What will they require of an applicant?

Well depending on the exact job, excellent spelling would be required.

There are such a variety of jobs in a hospital, you would really have to be much more specific.
