When you are growing (from childhood on) your body changes (as I am sure you know) and you grow in many directions. What can happen, is a growth spurt takes place, but your skin doesn't "keep up". This is completely normal for most people. If you have a huge growth spurt, your skin stretches. Some people do, but most people do not have the skin elasticity to compensate for such rapid growth. Viola - stretch marks. Over time they can fade, but they will never completely go away. Unless you resort to medical procedures. Getting married has nothing to do with stretch marks. Unless you get pregnant after you get married, and then they still have nothing to do with the marriage. That's just one of the many 'joys' of pregnancy.

Having stretch marks doesn't have anything to do with how much you eat, especially at 14. I got some stretch marks in my teens and they are totally faded and unnoticable now(in my 20's). The best thing you can do for your skin is to keep yourself hydrated, drinking a lot of water will def. help the elasticity of your skin. Vit E oil on your skin can work too but be careful Vit E (and most other supplements) can have some side effects. Besides that don't worry, they will be less noticable soon enough.....

Getting married has NOTHING to do with stretch marks. Stretch marks occur with sudden growth at puberty, or with weight gain, where the skin stretches. Although they don't go away, using chap stick in the area sometimes helps.

Sometimes, stretch marks just happen. I'm a size 1/2 (one/two) and I haven't lost a dramatic amount of weight either and I have faint stretch marks on my inner things.

Everybody goes through rapid growth periods during puberty and your teen years. Your skin is just not made to withstand that rapid change and therefore you get stretch marks.

Your skin's gotta go somewhere while you're growing!! Try Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion. It smells good, and some people say it works wonders!

Use cocoa butter lotion atleast once a day - especially after showers and the like, your skin will soak it up better.
