I live in St. Louis and want to have a Casino Royale themed party for New Year's eve. Does anyone know how to look for a card dealer for hire? Someone who can bring in a table, cards, roulette etc. for a few hours. I haven't been able to find the services that do something like this.

I found this company in your area. Contact them and see what they say.

maybe someone who is attending the party can deal the cards for tips. I'd say the card games mostly played are Black Jack and Poker...those two games alone are easy enough to find a dealer. Lots of people know the rules well enough to be the dealer. All you would need are the chips and cards. Make sure you find a trustworthy banker.

Search engine online. Well I dont know of any casinos in that area, or state to be honest. If you go there you can probably ask to hire temp one of their own but it would be expensive. I dont think it is legal...
anyways try getting multiple deck of cards, go to walmart or some big mini mall, and buy one of those set of casino games.
Play music, have food, really you just want to be with your friends and family, dont spend a bunch to have someone be a professional dealer.

for real money prob cant do it. check state laws. For a "casino night' type fun deal, ask around the VFW, elks, K of C etc, those guys do that from time to time.
