Would you say "Oh thanks. I'll use this wisely". Or would you say "I have faith that there is platinum insider here so I'm going to melt it down looking for the platinum even though there is no sign that there is any platinum in here and I'll actually just waste all the gold but hey I have faith." Why throw away the only about 75 years of life you will ever have hoping for something better?

What gave you the idea that we are throwing away our lives?
Before I became a Christian I was ready to commit suicide. I was constantly thinking about it. Now my life is allot more full then it was before. I haven't thought about committing suicide for 13 years.

Friend, taking note of your avatar, I think I can assume you are directing your comments and question to those who hold to the Christian faith, those who ( in your words) are throwing away their lives in exchange for a future based on conjecture and myth.

Let me assure you that as a Christian I get the gold AND the platinum.

Not only is there the sure hope of an amazing future and eternity, but, contrary to public opinion, the Christian life is the most exciting, challenging, stimulating, refreshing life there is. It envelopes the whole personality- our minds, our emotions, our spirits, etc. It stretches the imagination, challenges any rationalizations, and fulfills the deepest needs of our souls.

Even if there were no heaven and hell, the Christian life is the most amazing satisfying life there is.

maybe you ought to consider what YOU are missing....

god bless!!!

Bury it in the garden and wait till it becomes more valuable. Just like they did in the good book.

First I will say thank you.
Then I would sell it and enjoy the money, probably spending most of it foolishly.

Because if your wrong and there is platinum in there you are in deep, deep, deep doo-doo (to put it mildly).

And P.S. I am not wasting my life. .my life is amazing and beautiful and I owe it all to God!!

If that's the best you can come up with, I suggest you stay out of the "I refuse to believe in God" debate...ha,ha, ha.lol
