I'm in a 5month relationship right now and we are on a break. We've still been communicating, seeing each other, and she tells me she loves me, and I tell her the same. Last night she texted me "You know I love you right, well I was asked out on Friday and I'm going to go, I need to know what i feel for you is true I beleive it is I love you I just need to know before anything else" Personally I'm extremely upset, but I'm unsure if this is a common thing in a "break" and maybe I'm just over reacting.

Tell her how you really feel, if she doesn't feel the same she'll let you know-trust me.

Well if you're on a break and the break is to know if what you have with your girlfriend is real then go for it. This will hurt her but in the end she will know your true feelings about her.

you could be overreacting... or she could be using the "love test" thing as a cop-out to see this guy and not even realize it. you may never know. meanwhile, since it's technically a "break", suck it up and take a bit of advantage like she apparently is.

ok if yall are on a break i think that u shouldnt be as mad as u are but it is ok to feel what u are feeling because u prolly love her and i think that u both need to have a serious talk about love and what u feel.

Make up your mind, it is not good to move from relationship to the other, if it is a closure then be specific otherwise you will be doomed.

I think that you are using the"break" as a excuse for you being unfaithful

THIS IS NOT OK!!! IF SHE LOVES YOU SHE WOULD NOT DO IT AND YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A BREAK IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!
