Good question. There are many types of geography, and the field hasn't been about finding world capitals on a map in a very long time. There is human geography, which is closely related to the social sciences, there is physical geography, which is related to geology and other sciences. There is economic geography, which is probably related to economics and social science. There is spatial science, which is related to theories of spatial organization, and there is GIS, which is representation of geographic phenomena via computer simulation and mapping.
So, the point is that it's very difficult to pigeon hole geography into ONE category. And the Science and Math category is probably as good as any other. Hope that helps?

Creationists and sensible layout proponents (the comparable component, even with what they declare) try desperately to create the phantasm that there is an incredibly ongoing debate in the scientific community on the reward of creationist as against evolutionary concept. that isn't the case. Scientists have controlled to wisely are waiting for the positions of fossils especially layers of rock per their awareness of evolution. If evolution grow to be not a real technology it may be fully impossible to make predictions with any degree of accuracy. in addition to, there's a lot of bewilderment surrounding using the be conscious concept in a scientific experience. It would not advise wager or estimate, or that the jury remains out, an thought in technology is a set of examined thoughts which clarify how some thing works. So evolution is properly authentic technology.

definately not social science (which is the study of people and groups); its more of an earth science subject which falls under science. also, technically geography includes several mathematical equations considering how we chart the geographical location of the world i.e longitude, latitude, distance from the equator, etc.
