My answer is consistent with canadian stats which i understand of specially for the Toronto section each 365 days they have 7000 applicant making use of and the hiring is barely for fifty-60 human beings do u rather think of u could have a raffle while maximum of them have a clean criminal checklist. besides the fact that u werent charged interior the case it nonetheless shows up interior the heritage tests and finally ends up making ur application hit the trash. good success however :)

Short answer, YES I work for the Met Police, she will be vetted to the level of job she is applying for and will be asked about her sister, but it should not affect her application, my advice.....be honest about it.

THE LAW Takes the view ''that you are not your brothers keeper''
on the interview this concern may be aired about the sister's record ,make sure your friend realizes the implications of her answer, if there is any doubt about where your friends loyalties may lie, first and foremost she is a citizen and not above the law, niether is the sister. regards. LF

a member of your family having a criminal record will not affect you, they go by your record.if that were the case hardly anyone would be able to apply,we all usually have at least one family member thats not just up to par.

It doesn't matter if it's a member of the family. It's the individual who is applying that they care about.

Yes you can, this would not be a problem, but she does need to declare everything - if they find out later then it will become an integrity issue.

What her family does would have no reflection on her. Almost everyone has someone in their family who has done something at one time or another. We would have no police.
