Not a really good idea, when people see tattoos they get the wrong impression. Also not good for jobs.

I have a bracelet type tattoo there. It's geometric with triangles and dots and circles the entire wrist.
The pain wasn't terrible, but it did hurt more on the sides of my wrist where the bones are really close to the surface.
If you are worried about covering the tattoo, it's actually pretty easily concealed with a watch.

I have a tat on both sides of my wrist. They are of my daughters names (Tasia and Shiya) in script. It didn't really hurt much. I've has the one on my outter wrist for 6 years and the one on my inner wrist for a year. I have never had a second thought about them. I love them dearly! The people blah blah blahing about working in a professional work environment are full of it! I'm currently a librarian and have always held "professional" positions and NEVER had a problem. And even if I did, they would easily be covered with a long sleeve shirt, bracelet, or watch! The only thing I have had a "war" over is my facial piercings........a whole nother story ;-)

With tattoos, if you're unsure (for something intent) , then you definitely must wait. Try having your brother positioned it on briefly and put on it round, and check out one of a kind apparel on and transfer one of a kind approaches, and notice the way you consider. You are at an skills in that you'll be able to ask your brother matters that average purchasers could not ask their tattoo artist. He might positioned a stencil on or write it in Sharpie for you. success~

my grandma had a little cross tattoo put on her wrist when she was in Bethleham. Alot of her friends had it done to. It became part of who she was, and after she died I thought of getting one there myself. Anything small would look cute, maybe a heart, your kids name etc..... Good luck with the tattoo, find someone who is proffesional and check their work out.

I have an Eye of Horus on one wrist, and a Chinese Symbol on the other. I also have E=mC2 on the palm of my hand. (Big Eiensteins' Theory fan!) I have over 20 in all and plan to get more.

Be careful. Some people will not hire you if you have tattoos that can easily be seen. Would love to see it if you get it done.
My favorite ones are the ones that look like actual bracelets. Are you into bikes or motorcycles, because a drive chain would look really cool? I could draw you something if you are interested.
