"The Nerve of Some People"
I know what that means.
What I'd like to know is the synonym for "some people" in this context.
English isn't my native language, and I don't understan why it should be plural "people" instead of singular "person."

It's an expression---I guess technically you could say 'The nerve of some persons'. I can't think of a synonym for it, but it is talking about a whole group of people who act a certain way. Even though you may be saying that to a certain person---you are grouping them in with a type of person who does the same thing they do.

I think "they" is a synonym. For example:
The nerve of some people! They think they can do whatever they want. The words "they" in the second sentence mean the same as the "some people" in the first sentence.
If you are looking for a word to replace "some people" in your sentence, you could use the word "them" . Then your sentence would be: The nerve of them!! In either case, we really don't know to whom is being referred. Further sentences would hopefully make that clear.

Not necessarily always able to use in the same context 100% of the time, but there ARE ways to say it. For Example: like equivalent similar same very much alike equal duplicate and so on...

It's just an expression, it uses plural to imply that the one offensive person is not the only offensive person.
