Jesus told many times in the Bible to turn from your sinful ways. Repent your sins. Sin no more. He did not come to comdemn us, but to save us!
Catholic Church started when Jesus started the Church. Go online and do a history of the Church all were started by a man. The Catholic Church was started by Jesus. Others Church broke away from the Catholic Church. Why attend a Church a man started when I can attend one Jesus started. Time magazine once put out a breakdown in there magazine. Prove it for yourselves and look online. Have a blessed Christmas!

Yes, they confessed all their sins to the Priest when they brought a sacrifice to the temple. First they leaned all their weight on the animals head then they said it should atone for all their sins, espescially the sin of .... (Whichever they were bringing the animal for.)
Not all kinds of sins required a sacrifice though.
Some Jews still confess. Among certain Chasidim, it's common to go to the Grand Rabbi, confess sins, and be given certain acts to do, Psalms to say, money to give, etc. This is called a TIkkun Nefesh, fixing of the soul. If money is given this is a Pidyon Nefesh, Redemption of the Soul.
At the deathbed Jews also confess to whomever is nearby, because it's believed the embarassment will help atone for sins. (Suffering is believed to atone for sins in Judaism.)
The text is:
I admit before You, O L-rd my G-d, and G-d of my fathers, that my healing and death are in your hand. May it be your will to heal me quickly, but if I die, my death should atone for my mistakes, wrong doings, and willful sins that I have mistakenly done, done wrong, and sinned wilfully in; particularly the sins of.... May you grant me my share in the Garden of Eden, and privilage me for the World to Come that is hidden away for saints.

No. They had one day of fasting and prayer and Temple Sacrifice for the sins of everybody....the Sacrifice was offered by the Priest only, who entered into the Holy of Holies to sprinkle blood on the Mercy Seat.
Jews still celebrate this day as Yom Kippur.

Safe to say "no" on this one.
Confession is most popularily associated with Catholicism, and well - the Jews aren't Catholic.

No. Confession is a Catholic thing. Jesus was not catholic - it didn't exist yet.
