Sorry to hear that! Can you really not get help anywhere else. There are a lot of legal debt help people out there, to help people just like yourself. Just don't do it!
P.S. We have the same name, so you might want to put an initial or something after yours.

advantage loans were on watchdog about 18 months ago for taking broker fees off clients but not producing loans. Do not touch them with a barge pole.
If you own your own house the best thing to do is apply for a secured loan which you can do even with bad credit history. Secured loan lenders will go to 110% with bad credit. You may have been turned down in the past but this might be because you have approached the wrong companies.
If you are renting or living with friends/family then the options are less. Try provident, they will lend without doing any credit checks - the rates aren't pretty but if you've tried everywhere else it's much better than a loan shark. This is dodgy territory and loan sharks have no regulations to follow. Alternatively talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau to find out if there is a money union in your area where you can borrow money with minimal interest rates.
Sometimes horrible situations aren't as bad as you think they are if you can find the right person to talk it though with. email me if you need some contact details and I'll put you in touch with someone that can help.
Good luck

You really don't want to get involved with loan sharks, they are extremely dangerous, also not only are you putting yourself at risk but also your loved ones.
But if your that desperate ask any druggie or prostitute as most of them use loan sharks. I used to work in a chemist near a red light area, thats how i know. Do take care and for God's sake never miss a payment.

ignore Chris Peter who posted above me. There's already been a discussion highlighting that this man is not legit.
With regards to your question, there is absolutely no way that your situation could improve with a loan shark. Very bad idea.
I'm not aware of your current circumstances, however, Advantage Loans ( http://www.advantageloansuk.co.uk ) specialise in helping those with bad credit with unsecured loans.
There's plenty of useful information on the web site.

You might not have to do something as drastic as borrow from a loan shark. There are companies out there which offer loans for people with bad credit ratings....their interest rates are terrible BUT at least going with them means you dont have to break the law.
Try:

Bad move - if you do this then your problems will get either worse.
Talk to Citizens Advice Bureau who can help you with debts otherwise go to the Police if you are caught up in something untoward.

How about family, friends. How about all those 'free' credit cards? You really don't want to pay the vig on any type of loan like that..............
