There are no ridiculous stories found in the bible. One of the most ridiculous stories that I've heard regarding some "bible believers" is that God is in all churches and that all churches are accepted by God. If that were so, Jesus wouldn't have made a distinction between his church and those that would come later. Jesus never promised to save anyone outside of his church, which includes the various denominations out there claiming to follow after his word without out really obeying it
