Did they not stop???????????? OMG...I saw this happen the other day on a busy road in the city I live. We were all pulling to the side of the road to get out and help the little puppy. People are so heartless. I am so sorry about your baby. I think what you are saying, says it all.

sorry to hear about your dog. you can do any # of things you mentioned. but keep in mind if they didnt stop they probably wont even pay attention to the sign as they do not care. if you get another dog try the fidoshock i have a rottie that used to get out to play with the kids in the neighborhood (died of old age) i have another now / i used the fidoshock & she never got out again. keep in mind the fidoshock does not hurt you dog it is just a deturrent

I would approach this by taking leagal measures. Obviously this is not a unique occurance....Speeding. I would petition the neighborhood to get a speed bump, sinage, and closer monitoring of cars on that road. Then I would set up a small memorial to my dog near his fatal accident. Nothing too distracting...this too could be illegal. If this is a residential neighborhood why arn't signs posted re: speed limit. Good luck

That's horrible what happened to your dog and I'm sorry for your loss. Yes I would put a sign up saying that...People don't realize that pets are part of your family. I don't know how a person can live with themselves hitting someone's family pet and continue to drive away instead of stopping...that's just wrong!!! I'm sorry again for your loss...

Sorry to listen to however be brave. We will pray to your uncle. Now what your uncle want is trust. Tell him this is a minor case and latest technological know-how and medication would heal him Ask all of your men and women to preserve continually smiling face in entrance of him.

I don't blame you for being mad at that speeder. Unfortunately, I don't think this twit has any concious so all he'll do is laugh at your sign.

What you can do is inform the local law enforcement of the problem so they can watch the area for speeders more closely. And hopefully people will slow down when they realize that the chances of them getting a ticket have gone up.

You should just let it go.
Your dog was loose, thats all that the laws cares about.

The sign could backfire and come back on you.
You could be held liable if the driver decided he has damage to his vehicle and finds out you owned the dog he hit.
You may be causing more problems than you want to deal with.

Maybe post a sign DRIVE SLOW CHILDREN AND PETS AT PLAY. Maybe this is better that way you have not lowered yourself to their level. I'm really sorry to hear about your dog.

I am sorry she was hit and hurt, but dont lower yourself and act like a child by that saying!

You could possibly put up a sign saying that there is a reward for letting you know who hit her.
If and when someone fesses up, then take their names, and turn them in to the police!

Sorry to hear about your dog. I would buy the huge white boards the kids use for school projects and write: "SPEED KILLS - BEING IN A HURRY ISN'T WORTH THE LIFE THAT IT TAKES. THE ANIMAL OR PERSON YOU KILL WILL BE FOREVER HAUNTING YOUR SOUL FOREVER!!"
