whistling comes from the earliest days of man. it has long since been used to pervert attempts of people to simply play music without instruments or i-pods. while the frequency of whistling causes inner ear imbalances and eeg charts show a remarkable increase in stupidone levels, the military has yet to harness the true powers of this aerodynamic phenomena. early cave men were thought to have used it to keep dinosaurs up late at night leading to their extinction. it has been outlawed in war now by the geneva convention. unfortunately their are still a few bad apples out there that think their warbling winds will win us all over to the dark side.

No, not really. I guess it depends. If the person is trying to irritate--then yes. It could be a stress relief for that person. A form of self entertainment. It can get on the nerves of others--especially if it is not done well but if it is done well, I enjoy it--but--maybe if done too much--it could become annoying. The whistling that I have heard has not been a form of aggression.

Whistling can be many different things. I know of someone who whistled after fights, so as not to show how much it affected them. Their partner, however thought they were being ignorant, agressive and arrogant. Check, whether it could be something other than what you feel straight away. Any chance to ask that person? Take it.

Aggression, no. Harassment maybe at worst. I don't see how that falls under the category of aggression. By that standard you could pretty much call any human act an act of aggression.
