TRUE STORY:
yesterday the American Air Force had to get a plane to land back down again because a woman had let out a fart and lit a match to get rid of the smell

soz ppl if i caused any offence by the title, but surprising that isnt it, that when i said sommat about American, loadsa ppl stood up to back them up, yet when people says stuff bout BRITISH MUSLIMS no one stands up against them. Why?
okay and no point going onto Pervez Musharraf okay, im not a Pakistani, im a British, so why not go onto Tony Blair, and yes i to heard George Bush was a Transexual, but all Americans are rubbing it off onot Pervez Musharaf.
What you need to get into your head mister (the guy dat wrote about Pervez Misharraf) is that Pervez is helping America out in the fight against terrorism, so leave him out of the things i have said okay!!!!

hahaha,i know.i heard it on the radio this morning,bomb squad and the lot weren't it coz people could smell smoke.i laughed my socks off not at the fact they thought it was some terrorist thing but all because she lit a match to get rid of her smelly fart.

Ok, first of all, how do you know if this is a true story? "Hearing it somewhere" doesn't make anything true. "Hey! I heard that Pervez Musharraf is a trans-gender from Tahiti!" See? I can play that game, too. I mean no disrespect to the leader of Pakistan; I simply wanted to make a point.
Second, the American Air Force has little to do with getting an airliner back on the ground, except under EXTREME emergency. A woman lighting a match may be serious, but it is not an emergency. Knowing American airline pilots, they would head back immediately anyways. In fact, if this has any basis in truth, the pilot would make the decision to land immediately, not the Air Force or Air Traffic Control!
This story may have some truth to it: A woman may have lit a match to cover a fart in flight.
However, to title something as Stupid American, and to claim that the Air Force acted to get the plane on the ground says that the asker does not understand America, does not understand our customs, and does not even understand INTERNATIONAL flight regulations. Even if this was a simple domestic flight, it would still be bound by international accords.
So, new question: Is this about a stupid American, or is this about somebody who did not think about what he/she asked?

Not a cool title but I guess it wasn't too insulting. Who the hell is that Pervez guy and who says anything bad about muslims here and gets away with it?
It seems to me the only people ppl can pick on now a days are Americans (which they love to do) and white people.

It is true an airplane was landed because of the passenger passing flatus, but it was NOT THE AMERICAN AIR FORCE IT WAS an American PASSENGER airplane. Would you want to stay on a plane with the smell of sulfur and be thinking the plane might be on fire and no one did anything about it? Only someone that does not value life would think it was STUPID. That is what a sicide bomber is someone who has no value of life. As for the paradise theory it is a bunch of bull.Only God has the right to take a life. I think they will be going down.
