Thanks for the answers, but please try to document your statements rather than simply repeat commonly held rumors. I also am under the impression that religious restrictions are more intense in Muslim countries, but there are many Muslim Countries. Indonesia is the largest: Are they restrictive in religious freedom? How about Iran? Qatar? Kuwait? Etc.?

Yes. In Muslim countries, muslim women aren't allowed to go out in public without wearing a head scarf or they'll be subjected to discrimination. Also, notice that there are no Muslim countries allowing sodomy.

Naaah.

I think their Laws are quite simple, at least in the Sultanates and Sheikdoms.

You got caught for theft? OK Cut off his arm! What do you mean you want a Layer? We don't waste our time with that kind of stuff here.

You raped a woman? Does she have 4 male witnesses? No? Case dismissed. Yes? Off with his head.

You wanted to convert out of Islam? Call his Father or Brother and have them kill him; or else, we'll do it for them.

Two guys were found naked in bed together. Gays? Hang them.

A woman was accused of being a prostitute. Stone her to death!

[The last two things happened in Iran recently]

You're a Muslim going to Saudi Arabia for the Haj? Your copy of the Koran is not the Wahabi Version? Burn that book and give him 500 lashes.

You didn't attend all 5 prayers? 100 lashes.

Of course, if you aren't a Muslim, you aren't allowed in most parts of Saudi Arabia. In the other Countries you can go around there, except into their Mosques and Holy areas. Don't even thionk about saying anything about Islam there. It starts from 100 lashes.

Legal restriction on other Religions? Where are they, there? You don't see any churches and temples and synagogues there. Only in Malaysia, but that's a Democracy.

See how simple Islamic Law is?

Yes, in most Muslim countries, a muslim is NOT allowed to ever choose another religion, nor can you try to convert a Muslim out of Islam, on pain of death.

Yes, obviously. Compare Iran/Saudi Arabia/Afghanistan (the one under the Taliban or the current one) to the United States/France/Sweden.
